Why choose us?
Aledo, Texas is a very special town, and we believe there’s no place like it in Texas or the rest of the world, so therefore this music program has to be just as unique as the town it’s named after.
At Aledo Music Academy we cover everything from playing A-B-C to developing original songs, recording projects, and music technology. We have an amazing team of teachers and musicians working with incredibly dedicated students to achieve a level of progress that could not be achieved any other way.
If you want to learn more about our program, give us a call and we can set up a tour because once you see what we’re up to, you’ll want to be a part of it. It happens every day, we are teaching a student, and now suddenly their parents (or even grandparents) want to learn an instrument as well! So don’t be shy, send us a message and we’ll get right back to you!
11 Benefits of Becoming a Aledo Music Academy Student
1. Piano, Guitar, Voice, Drums, Ukulele, Violin, Flute, Clarinet, Mandolin, and MORE in ONE location!
We are the only school in Parker County that offers all of these popular instruments: Guitar, Ukulele, Voice, Piano, Mandolin, Banjo, Drums, Flute, Clarinet, Violin, Viola...and more. Other programs only offer one instrument, and if you ever decide to switch you have to find a new teacher or new place for lessons. We take the hassle out of the whole process, and you or your child can have the opportunity to learn many different instruments at our studio!
2. Our highly qualified teaching faculty
Our music teachers are dedicated to learning about your personal musical goals and helping you to achieve them. We are confident that we have the right teacher to meet your music lesson needs. In addition to their teaching credentials, our teachers have warm personalities, are extremely friendly and dedicated to teaching you the style of music that you want to learn in your music lesson
3. Help with finding the right music instrument and accessories
The Academy also sells music books, instruments, and accessories. Need tuners, picks, or a new Ukulele? We’ve got you covered! If we don’t have it, we are always more than happy to help you and your child select an instrument that they will absolutely love, whether that is a guitar, ukulele, keyboard, a microphone, or a music technology resource like a music lesson app!
4. Music Technology Resources
We are one of the only (if not THE only) music schools in the country to offer green screen music videos for our students. Many students struggle with preparing for live performances and feel pressured or overwhelmed. Others simply have such busy schedules with basketball, soccer, gymnastics, swimming lessons, travel, and more! In this world where many performers gain an audience through video, using platforms such as Youtube, we’ve begun creating a music video experience for our students. Students can get experience becoming more comfortable on camera, and you get a high-quality audio/video performance to keep for years to come!

5. Music recitals and our annual student showcases!
We are the only school in Texas that, in addition to 2 recitals per year, facilitates additional performances for our students, and helps students to record music videos!
Every parent wants to know how their child is doing and if they are really progressing. The best way for a parent to understand if their investment in lessons is really worth it, is to have their child participate in a recital. In May and December, many of our students choose to perform in our biannual recitals. We make every effort to ensure our students feel like rock stars, and we pull out all the stops to make sure they have a blast being on stage! This past year we featured students on voice, guitar, piano, violin, Ukulele, and trombone for performances and students had multiple opportunities to watch our incredible guest performances and be inspired by live music as well as enjoy their own performance opportunity.
6. Trophies, certificates, and award wristbands to celebrate achievement.
We are the only music school in Parker County that gives their students the opportunity to earn special color wristband bracelets (kids and teens love them!), trophies, AND certificates for passing musical tests. Do other schools offer trophies and certificates? A few. But none of them inspire their students with smiling faces by giving them full color, really cool “Musical Ladder®” wristbands that they can show off to their friends. The Musical Ladder® is a unique program that few schools have the opportunity to implement. We’ve seen immense value in this program for motivating students to be consistent in practice and attendance to ensure that you get the most out of your investment in music lessons. Therefore, we’ve taken the initiative to license this music achievement program to reward your music students for their hard work and dedication.

7. Professional photo opportunities!
We are the only music school in Parker County that offers professional photography for their students.
This is a service that our student's parents love as they all want quality photos of their children (example pictured right). Not only does it capture the excitement of your child’s journey with music lessons, but it helps build their confidence in themselves as well.
8. Help with changing old guitar strings, ukulele strings, and tuning!
One big hurdle many families face is that they will purchase a new guitar or Ukulele, and then weeks or months later a string or multiple strings will break. The guitar then ends up sitting in the closet, never to be played again. Sadly, very few guitar lessons and ukulele lessons teach this valuable skill of instrument care and maintenance. We make sure to show parents how to do this, and we even offer a FREE string change. Old guitar strings are a recipe for discouragement, as the grimy rusty strings can really hurt a new guitar student’s fingers.
The other roadblock to regular practice is having a tuned instrument. This is another area where students can struggle without proper guidance. We are currently teaching students as young as 7 years old to tune their Ukuleles, and we also teach the parents how to tune, so their instrument always sounds brand new and melodious!

10. Supportive, individualized private lesson programs
Every student is unique. They deserve one on one attention with someone who is personally invested in their growth and success! Our school is the only school in the area with a focus on private lessons. Unlike other schools that focus on group programs due to a limited teaching staff, with over 15 instructors, we are able to conduct all private lessons. Because of this, our students are able to learn the music they love, and develop a personal connection with their instructor which helps their long-term success!
11. Music lesson times available seven days a week!
We are constantly expanding our offerings and our hours to meet your busy schedule! Inquire about available times by contacting us.
