What Parents Have to Say
My daughter just recently started piano lessons here after being with a private teacher for a year. [Her teacher] is really great at making lessons fun and enjoyable! It's also very convenient to access the music online for easier practicing at home! WMA is open almost always too, so scheduling is easy! We also LOVE the new building. *Definitely recommend Weatherford Music Academy!

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a piano to learn the instrument?
Not to get started! A simple full size electronic keyboard will suffice for the first 6-12 months, and when you enroll with us, we are your full music concierge service to help you purchase an instrument that's within your budget and will be a great learning tool!
What styles of piano do you teach?
With 5 piano instructors (and counting) we are able to teach piano styles ranging from pop music (Taylor Swift) to classic rock (Billy Joel) to classical (Mozart), and just about everything in between! It's risk-free to try your first lesson, and we'd love to learn more about you or your student to pair you with an instructor that's a great fit!
What will I learn from piano lessons at the Academy?
Beginner piano students can expect to work on chords, simple songs and melodies, and theory. Our instructors balance musicianship and fun by making sure that each lesson presents a new technical challenge or theory concept, and ends with something fun, such as your favorite riff or song. We use a variety of piano methods and techniques, and encourage students to bring their smartphones or CDs to their lessons to learn their favorite tunes. Whether you want to learn Beethoven or Billie Eilish, our teachers are dedicated to helping you become the pianist you want to be. They will show you the fundamentals of sight-reading, technique, and theory, and incorporate your favorite songs into your lessons.
